13 Companies Qualified for the 6th Production Sharing Round
130 construction projects considered strategic for relaunching the economy and for modernizing its infrastructure network
The ANP published, in the Official Gazette, a list of 13 companies qualified for the 6th Production Sharing Round. Those companies have met all the requirements set out in the notice and are able to participate in the round.
Companies qualified so far:
Considering the existence of volumes above the maximum limit provided for in the contract, in 2019, the National Council for Energy Policy (CNPE) authorized the ANP to bid this surplus, under the production-sharing regime, in the Assignment Surplus Bidding Round. The round, scheduled for November 6, will offer the development areas of Atapu, Buzios, ltapu and Sepia in the Santos Basin.
Four other companies expressed interest in participating in the round and the next Commission meeting to judge the qualifications is scheduled for 10/14. With this, the 6th Production Sharing Round may have the largest number of companies qualified in bids under the production sharing scheme.
